About Dittoshot

Last updated 15 October 2026

Dittoshot is a web app that turns a written description of a fictional person into a reference sheet, then generates everyday photos of that person with the same face. You pay per photo with token packs; there is no subscription.

Who runs Dittoshot?

Dittoshot is built and operated by Coderuns, NIP 9212042321, a software company registered in Poland. Questions, bug reports and corrections go to hello@dittoshot.app.

How is a person made?

From text only. You describe their age, skin, hair, eyes, build and marks, and optionally a line about their life. Uploading photos is not possible.

  • A front portrait is generated from your description alone.
  • A three-quarter view and a full-body shot are each generated from that portrait, never from each other, so errors don't compound.
  • All three frames are made before any is saved. Together they are the reference sheet, and it doesn't change.

A sheet costs 11 tokens.

How is a photo made?

You write a scene, or leave it empty and a text model writes an ordinary moment from the person's bio: a place, a time of day, a light source, what their hands are doing. The image model then gets all three reference frames, with the portrait named as the ground truth for the face, and shoots the scene as a candid 4:5 phone photo.

How does the identity check work?

A second model compares every new photo with the reference sheet and scores it from 0 to 10 twice: identity (is it the same person?) and realism (does it pass as a real photo, without plastic skin or broken hands?). The photo's score is the lower of the two.

  • A photo passes at 7 or more.
  • Below that it is taken again, up to 3 takes in total, and the best take is kept.
  • You pay 5 tokens per photo however many takes it needed.

Which AI models does Dittoshot use?

Images come from Google's Gemini image model; scene writing and the identity check use a Gemini Flash model. Both are called through OpenRouter. Your descriptions and images are sent to them only to generate your photos; see the privacy policy for who processes what.

What Dittoshot won't do

  • Recreate a real person. There are no uploads, and the terms forbid describing a real, identifiable person.
  • Make sexual content, or anything suggestive involving minors. The image model's safety filter also refuses some scenes; a refused generation is refunded.
  • Post for you. Dittoshot makes images only: no captions, no scheduling, no social accounts.

Are the photos labelled as AI?

Every image Dittoshot makes is AI-generated, and every person in it is fictional. If you publish them, say so: use the platform's AI label and mention it in the bio of an AI persona. The terms require it wherever a platform or the law does, and we recommend it everywhere.

What does it cost to try?

New accounts get 16 free tokens: enough for one person and their first photo. After that, see pricing.
